Work at Aerospacelab

Internship Mission Analysis

ASL France develops key technologies for future satellite platforms and in-orbit mission strategies, performs system engineering studies and support manufacturing and integration of the products.

Our head office being in Belgium (Mont-Saint-Guibert), we work in close collaboration with all the teams based there : mechanical design, avionics design and integration teams.

Within the System Engineering team, the intern will be expected to carry out analyses of constellation deployment missions in order to optimize them.

  • Modeling constellation satellites missions
  • Determine the optimization parameters according to different criteria
  • Propose solutions for the deployment of constellations in the nominal case and then in degraded cases (e.g.: failure, etc.).

End of study internship for a student from an engineering school with a specialization in Space Systems.

  • Space Mechanics
  • Good level of English
  • Ability to use a mission simulation tool (GMAT – STK)
  • Multi-criteria optimization tool would be a plus
