Mechatronics – Mechatronics Engineer

Aerospacelab France develops SML (space mobility & logistics) payloads & platforms.

As mechatronics engineer, your role is to develop arms and actuators for in-space applications

Duties

  • Define mechanical & electronic design of robotic payloads (such as arms & actuators; …)
  • Define or specify actuators for in-space operation
  • Manage interfaces with the platform (both mechanical & electronics)
  • Optimize trajectory of the arm to perform the mission
  • Contribution to the validation of the payload performances, in coherency with the GNC teams and the System teams

Must have

  • MSc degree in robotic engineering or aerospace engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across the team and company to drive project to completion in full autonomy
  • 0/3y+ experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have

  • Experience in various mechanical software (Solidworks – Ansys) will be strongly appreciated
  • Experience in robotics
  • Experience in avionic development
  • Experience with space environment requirements will be strongly appreciated
