Full Time
Duties:
- Perform tests of optical systems for space and ground (telescopes, cameras, etc)
- Analyze the results of the tests and document them
- Participate in design of the tests setups, including scripting and automation of test setups
- Define the assembly, integration and validation procedures and other test activities of the optical systems, as well as associated test plans.
- Support optical manufacturing activities
Must have:
- 0-2 years of experience
- BSc or MSc in physics, optics, mechatronics or related field, we will teach you optics if needed
- Python or other scripting language
- Hands-on mentality, ability to work with hardware
- Interest for optics
- Comfortable to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Good knowledge of English, French is an advantage.
Nice to Have:
- Optics-related hobby is a very strong plus (photography, amateur astronomy,…)
- Skills in solidworks, ability to do mechanical design and drawings
- Optical design software skills such as Zemax or CodeV
