Project Controller

Duties

You ensure the budgets are reliable and accurate. You are the owner of all R&D budget and controlling processes and you are the key contact in this matter. You act as the responsible for all project budgets and are ready to take the lead on this field.

You will closely work with and report to the CFO and have a direct impact on the financial organisation of the company. You will join a strong and dynamic Finance Team who is the core of the budget and controlling process.

Key activities:

• Follow and achieve day-to-day budget follow-up
• Ensure the reliability of projects with Project Managers
• Support the Budgeting & Controlling activities
• Perform the closing activities for the budgets you manage
• Prepare quarterly and monthly reporting
• Prepare yearly budgets & forecasts with PM and CFO
• Ensure the consistence between the budgets & accounting
• Perform FP&A analysis
• Support Finance team on their projects
• Work on the continuous improvement of the process
• Perform and manage the process for the HQ and its subsidiaries

On top of that, we expect from you to be creative and to challenge the processes currently in place.

Must have

• Master degree in Finance, Business Engineering, Management or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience with a strong experience in financial analysis, business controlling,…
• Experience in the industrial sector (Space, aviation or production sector is a strong plus)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Open, pragmatic, empathetic
• Organised
• Autonomous & independent
• Easily manage complexity
• Open to take responsibilities
• Able to easily develop working relationships with colleagues at all levels

Nice to have

• Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus)
• Experience with start-up or PME environment
