Senior Financial Controller

Duties

You own and manage end-to-end financial forecasts and reporting processes in close collaboration with all units and stakeholders of the company. You sit at the cross-roads between Business and Finance with direct report to the CFO.

You have a view on the past:

• Project and Program reporting/Controlling
  • Monthly monitoring of project’s and company’s performance: P&L, cash-flow statements
  • Financial performance management & analysis: discover, shape and understand the value drivers of the company, investigate variance analysis
  • Define KPIs
  • Proactively identify issues that could jeopardize the objectives and propose solutions
  • Create specific projects reports

Forward-looking reporting:

• Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead the financial planning at short and mid-term range: Budgets, revenues & treasury forecasts, investment plans
  • Ensure the plan is grounded in reality with long-term objectives of the company (i.e. iterate with the relevant teams)
• Financial strategy
  • Lead the monthly follow-up and update of treasury forecasts
  • On an ad-hoc basis participate in projects to analyze and understand business implications of proposed decisions being M&A, new investments or funding questions.
  • Propose an ERP to implement, and play an active role in its implementation

Must have

• 10+ years of experience in the domain/function
• Very good understanding accounting principles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Not afraid of challenging the figures, facts and opinions
• Financial modeling skills
• Autonomous & independent
• Easily manage complexity
