Supply Chain – Supply Chain Officer

In 2022, Aerospacelab counts offices in Mont-Saint-Guibert and Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Bordeaux (France) and Lausanne (Switzerland) with more than 150 full-time employees, to position itself as the European leader in Geospatial Intelligence and small satellites platforms.

Task List

• As part supply chain officer, you are the one who ensure Purchase Order (PO) are delivered on time and on quality
• You are in constant contact with your international suppliers to follow their PO
• Using the info received by the suppliers, you ensure the ERP is up-to-date with correct qty and delivery date
• Identify day-to-day procurement issue and set-up relevant solution
• The portfolio you handle is exclusively parts with high technicity
  • Flight Hardware for Satellite (~70%)
  • Prototype & ground testing equipment (~30%)
• You help set-up relevant KPI with supplier and follow them on a monthly basis
• When needed, you organize visit at supplier premise to check the progress of ongoing order and assess the supplier capacity to fulfill its commitment
• Analyze and optimize stock level
• You participate in Aerospacelab’s production ramp-up by strengthening the supply chain for the portfolio you handle

Interactions

• You work directly under the head of the procurement department
• You are part of a department that handles:
  • Purchase
  • Supply Chain
  • Storage

… You will thus work closely with other Buyers, Supply chain officer, Warehouse team members.

• You are at the interface between Engineering, Manufacturing & Sales
• You have international suppliers

Location

• You are based in the HQ of Aerospacelab. Current HQ is in Louvain-la-neuve but will be transferred to Charleroi within a few years
• You are open to travel couples of day per month

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply chain or equivalent by experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
• Fluent in English
• Excel proficiency
• Autonomous & independent
• Assertive

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive or space industry
• Odoo knowledge
