François Auque joins Aerospacelab's board
François Auque has joined Aerospacelab’s board, as of 22 September. The announcement was made during a board meeting at Aerospacelab’s headquarters in Mont-Saint-Guibert.
A major industry player with significant impacts on the European aerospace landscape, he previously headed the Airbus space division from July 2000 to June 2016. Auque was also a member of Airbus Group’s Executive Committee and was Chief Financial Officer of Aerospatiale (then Aerospatiale-Matra) before the creation of EADS – European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company. He received the title of Officer in the Legion of Honour in July 2014.
Benoît Deper, Aerospacelab CEO and Founder, stated: “We’re very excited to welcome François Auque into the Aerospacelab family. We are certain this newly appointed role will help facilitate Aerospacelab’s growth on our path becoming a leader in satellite manufacturing and intelligence.”

With Auque joining Aerospacelab’s board, the total number of board members has been brought to six.
